Texican Cafe - Kyle

We’ve visited the Manchaca location many times and always ordered the fajitas for two with crispy veggies. After moving to Kyle, we decided to try the Kyle location and ordered the same dish. Unfortunately, the meat was burned to the point where we could barely recognize it, and the veggies were undercooked. We informed the waitress about the issue, but she simply brought out more veggies without addressing our concerns. Frustratingly, the manager never came over to apologize for the poorly prepared food or offer any sort of discount. When we went to pay for our meal, we gave our loyalty card to add points but instead, they ended up taking our points away.

It was a random stop for me but a quite pleasant one. I enjoyed the atmosphere in the Cafe and it was much larger than I expected It was a very clean and welcoming place with quick service. I had ordered the Beef and shrimp fajita with corn tortillas and as you would expect the plate came out sizzling and had the flavor you expect to follow. They have items for the picky eaters in your group from hamburgers to chicken tenders so no worries there and both of mine were happy with what they got and enjoyed the meal as well. My wife decided on the steak the name of the plate I can't recall at this time but she also enjoyed it and mentioned that she got more steak than she had expected. She also opted for the Margarita flight which lets you select 4 of their many flavors of margaritas they offer and the presentation was very nice but I know she enjoyed the flavor of them much more. All in all a nice surprise experience and I'm excited to one day go back and try something else. It's a little bit of a trek for me but I'm sure it's a hit for the locals that have this place nearby.

We enjoyed our meal here. The service was great, and we liked the food. We really liked the chips.

The food and service at this restaurant are absolutely incredible! It's truly a hidden gem in the community. We will undoubtedly be back! I just wish I could remember our server's name—she was fantastic! Despite the busy atmosphere, she was very attentive, and our drinks were always full!

I cannot recommend ordering takeout from this restaurant. I've always enjoyed dining in, but the food for takeout was poorly presented and looked unappetizing. It's disappointing, especially considering the price we paid!
