Abby’s Crab Shack - Kyle

The food lacked flavor, and I'm not convinced that I was served catfish; it might have been swai instead. The staff were pleasant, but overall, it wasn't worth it.

The crawfish were surprisingly small, and there was a misunderstanding about the price per pound. While money wasn't the main concern, I was disappointed that management only offered a $3 discount on the bill. On a positive note, the waitress was very nice. However, I don't think I'll return here, especially since there's a place in San Marcos that offers much better food and service for a fraction of the price.

Avoid this place if you're seeking good crawfish. It's the worst I've experienced in this area.

So my nephew and I had to come to Kyle, TX from San Antonio to buy a pair of soccer cleats, lol! So we decided to go eat at Abby's Crab Shack after, and let me tell you damn this place was amazing. Food, service, and atmosphere was amazing. If you're ever in Kyle, TX you must try this place out.Kid-friendliness: The server was amazing with my 10 year old nephew. Made him laugh and explained everything to him and had great interactions with him.

Food was delicious. It all came in a bag that you put out into a pan. Steaming hot and the garlic butter tasted so good. One of the best meals I've had in a long
