Sarawak Kitchen Express - Kurunjang

In July 2019, the service was friendly and helpful. I ordered the chicken and potato curry for about $10, which came with one large potato and 2-3 pieces of moist chicken (very good). The aromatic curry sauce was tasty, but I wish there was more of it. Instead of rice, it came with roti, which was fluffy and buttery (almost oily) but enjoyable, reminiscent of a croissant! The Penang fried kway teow was also around $10 and came with four medium prawns (with tails), egg, spring onions, and plenty of fresh bean sprouts—very refreshing! The narrow noodles were great, and the fish cake was delicious. The lup cheong was nice too, though it could have been crispier as it was a bit on the larger side. Overall, it was very good and quite spicy—spicier than the curry! In summary, an incredible bargain!

Absolutely delightful Asian cuisine! While there was no honey chicken or sweet and sour pork, the vegan rice option was cooked to perfection. It did take a bit of time to verify whether the rice was gluten-free, likely due to the restaurant's popularity. One downside was the lack of bathrooms, which became an issue after I indulged in two generous servings of rice. Despite that, I can't fault this place at all. I'm giving it five stars!

The noodles in dish number 7 were quite tasty, and the roasted pork was also enjoyable. I appreciated that the roasted pork wasn't too salty. The portion sizes were smaller than I anticipated, although this can vary based on the specific dish you order. Overall, the food was pleasant, and the service was satisfactory; however, I did notice that there seemed to be a high amount of MSG in the dishes.

Great food, the Hainanese chicken is to die for, I continuously go back for more. However this one is really popular so most of the time you have to go before 4 to get it cause its usually sold out (which is real unfortunate). Staff are really sweet, polite and really nice.

Cant believe that i have only found this place last week and i came 3 times already. Definitely worth the money. Came here around 3-4pm when they do 3 dishes for $9.50 only. The portion is huge and service is really good. The sambal they provided there is really spicy and nice also. Already thinking of coming back here again soon
