Flake Out - Kurunjang

The restaurant is now under new ownership and has been beautifully renovated. It's impeccably clean, and most importantly, the food is delicious. The chips are incredibly tasty—perfectly seasoned, crispy on the outside, and fluffy on the inside. The fish is also highly addictive, featuring a flavorful and unique batter that I haven't encountered anywhere else. The service is consistently polite and courteous. Honestly, this is one of the best fish and chips shops I've visited in recent years.

It was clear that they were having problems with the fryer. The oil wasn’t hot enough, which resulted in both the fish and chips being warm and soggy, despite us waiting for over 25 minutes.

The food is incredible, the restaurant is very clean, and it appears that all the sauces are made in-house! I will definitely be coming back!

Flake offers excellent quality and delicious flavors. I particularly enjoyed the hint of lemon in the dish. Thank you, everyone! I will definitely return if I'm ever in Melbourne again.

Definitely great value for money! We stopped by for a couple of burgers on our way home, and my wife absolutely loved the falafel patties—she said it was the best veggie burger she's had in ages. I tried the Outback burger and was really impressed. We might have just found our new weekly burger spot! Fantastic job, everyone—keep it up!
