Brauhof Am Steinertor - Krems

We were actually sitting in the Vinothek Leopold, but were lured into the restaurant by a band playing in the Hofbräuhaus (in the course of the opening of the beer garden). The band was great (Zwiesl Brass) and totally fit into this rustic flair. But if I think away the band, the only impression left is this: We waited forever for a server. After none came, we went looking for one ourselves. But it was served quickly afterwards. We had a beef tartar at 3.90 p.m. and a pretzel with Liptauer at 6.90 a.m. The former was very good, with the Liptauer we could have been told that a pretzel would not be enough. (was a decent chunk of spread, which you can't see on the photo). The house wine is good and more than drinkable. Also quite cheap at 2.90. Next time we'll definitely be back it could still rain two stars. So this time only 3.

The white sausages and the mustard with the pretzels tasted very good. DonauNaders

Die Gastfreundschaft ist hervorragend und das Essen einfach fantastisch! Ich komme jederzeit gerne wieder!

30 Minuten zu warten, bis man Getränke bestellen kann, ist einfach zu lang und für diese großartige Location nicht angemessen.

Tolles Essen, gutes Bier und freundliche Bedienung. Nur bei viel Betrieb sollte man die Nerven bewahren.
