Bidrage med feedbackI don’t usually claim that something is the best I’ve ever had, but this truly was the best! I ordered the Birria Supreme burrito, while my husband had a breakfast burrito, and both were incredible! I really wish they would open a Lucero’s in Redmond, OR, because I would definitely eat there way too often!
The food here is incredible—definitely the best I've had in Oregon. It may be pretty close to Northern California, but it still counts! I've always believed that the more run-down a taqueria looks, the better the food will be, and this place is no exception. Everything on the menu is fantastic. As for parking, the lot is small, but it’s usually empty, and if it happens to be full, spots open up quickly.
Overall, the food is generally good and authentic. However, they frequently forget parts of my order. Today, I ordered the corn quesadillas, which come in sets of three, but they only gave me one, and the cheese wasn’t melted. They also forgot my rice and beans, and even after leaving a $6 tip, I was called back to pay for the rice. The menudo was mediocre, with lukewarm meat. I had to ask for my horchata two or three times before I finally received it. Additionally, there are no prices on the menu, so I'm charged different amounts depending on who takes my order. I think I’ll take a break from going there for a while.
The Mexican food here is fantastic—better than most I've had in California. The highlights were the caramelized onions in the chicken fajitas and the house-made hot sauce. The beef was also quite impressive.
I only ordered the guacamole and chips, and my only complaint is that there wasn't enough of it! That guac is truly delicious!
