Sapporo Restaurant - Kingston

This was my first visit to this restaurant and I was impressed by the fast service and the friendly and kind owners. We opted for the super king all you can eat option which included sashimi, though the price was a bit high for a lunch. I would still recommend this place to friends in the area.

This sushi restaurant is a hidden gem! Located just outside downtown Kingston and Queen's University campus, Sapporo Sushi is truly amazing. As avid sushi eaters, my family and I visit all-you-can-eat restaurants frequently, and we can confidently say that Sapporo Sushi is the best. Everything, from the homemade and fresh taste to the delicious tempura, is top-notch. Unlike other all-you-can-eat places, Sapporo Sushi uses fresh ingredients for their tempura, not pre-battered frozen shrimp or soggy yam chunks. We stumbled upon this place while helping my sister move into university from Toronto and we all agreed to come back, even if it meant driving two hours. The owners, Mark and Karen, were delightful, funny, sweet, and generous. Highly recommended dishes include the Dynamite Roll, Sapporo Roll, Bulgogi Beef, Shrimp Tempura, and all the sashimi nigiri. For vegetarians, there are plenty of options with rolls that contain veggie tempura in the middle and fish on top, or a mix of shrimp tempura. Despite being fish lovers, my family and I enjoyed the sushi regardless of the amount of fish inside. Mark and Karen, we will definitely be back!

This sushi restaurant is a great cozy spot with excellent customer service that is always very friendly. The Queen on their menu offers a lot of delicious options for a reasonable price, ensuring that you will leave with a full stomach. It is evident that the owners put a lot of effort into making and presenting the food.

Lovely owners who serve good sushi given the distance from the ocean. There are other delicious meals too for a reasonable price.

We stop by in Kingston to charge our car and decided to grab sushi. An assuming mom and pop shop with an all- japanese menu. Delicious! We loved the tempura appetizer and the spider roll (soft shell crab).
