Cacao 70 - Kingston

This restaurant is a fantastic spot for coffee and a delicious treat. It is conveniently located, affordable, and their desserts are incredible.

Last night (July daughter and I went to cacao for her first time my second time! Waitress messed up our order then just brought the messed up order (which we touched by the way) to another table! Then she gave me the correct...order and all the fruit was mushy and old! (I didnt have my phone on me to take photos! I brought this to her attention and she did nothing to fix the situation. I asked to talk to the manager and she said only cook was available. Then i asked to speak with him and he refused and just told her to give me precent discount! I found this all very poor manners and paid my bill in full (no tip) and I never plan to set foot in this place again!

I recently went to Cacao for the first time. What a fabulous menu for chocolate lovers. My choice, a Tornado, was decadent. The restaurant serves Crepes Suzette, chocolate pizza, chocolate fondue, etc. ... all wonderful; however the diabetic with us found nothing on the menu. I also spoke to another friend who is diabetic and he said he won't return. In this day and age, there is no excuse for this. The owners could put a few selections on the menu because it is fairly easy these days to provide no sugar added choices such as no sugar added ice cream, sauces and drinks.

Our first time in Kingston. Here's a drink. I had an American kind of hot chocolate with marshmallows and I added to Baileys and it was nice. My husband had a milk chocolate milkshake that he loved And a smores donut that was ribbed in molten chocolate before serving
