Delicious coffee I had a shot of espresso with the home made chai gelato)! And let's not forget the fantastic service hospitality. Craving now: Zesty mocha orange peel) and cinnamon latte so darned good) Anybody that comes through and asks me for recs, I'll be sharing this place with them! Love this place, visited in 2017 and 2016, service is reliable, consistent and food coffee IS excellant. My favourite coffee is their orange mocha its the best in the world! Helpful reccomendations on what to visit in Kanazawa and how to get there. Last time we were going cycling and provided us the best sceanic way through the backstreets for our journey so grateful. Look forward to visiting again!

Easily the best coffee in Kanazawa, and also the friendliest, most helpful café owners in town! I also love the café’s fusion feel – a combination of old Kanazawa and Seattle. As for the menu, it has a little bit of everything, with items not to be found anywhere else in town (or in Japan). It’s a fun, central, laid back place where you can often hang out with locals, travelers, or the owners if they’re not too busy. Recommendations: cinnamon lattes, banana bread, and artichoke melted cheese sandwiches.

We dropped into curio espresso to start our visit to Kanazawa . We agree it has the best coffee in Japan . We asked the owners for a recommendation to the best sukiyaki and she directed us to Hasegawa Tei , run a butchery . The Kobe beef set is out of this world . Thanks !!
