Blackwater Siren - Key Largo

I really enjoy visiting this restaurant. The food is amazing, and our waitress, Ingrid, is fantastic!

I recently went on a bus trip that included a stop for lunch at Blackwater Siren. There were 50 of us on the bus, but unfortunately, we broke down and arrived three hours late. However, the entire staff was amazing and managed to take our orders promptly once we finally got there. The food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the fried shrimp, and it was the best I’ve ever tasted! Hats off to the restaurant and its wonderful staff!

I had dinner at the Backwater Siren last week, and I was pleasantly surprised by the food. The wings were the best I've had in the Keys so far, and the service was excellent. However, the restaurant itself has definitely seen better days. The only option was outdoor seating, which might be okay from January to April, but it was quite uncomfortable in September.

On vacation in Miami, we decided to drive a little to see the landscapes around the city. We found this restaurant welcoming, the food was excellent and plentiful, the waitress did everything to understand us. The price is more than fair and the setting unimaginable elsewhere. I recommend.

Stopped there for dinner back in Feb. Everything was good until about 9pm that night. Whatever both of us had with coconut, (shrimp and onion rings) let's just say it ended our night early and, to not sound graphic, we could have scheduled colonoscopies is the next day!! Out came everything we had eaten. I'll pass from now on. See Amanda Walmer review from months ago. Her review was BEFORE the cramping and time spent on the porcelain seat.
