Johnny's New York Style Pizza

I will definitely never order from this place again! I received a voucher in the mail for a free pizza, so I decided to give it a try. The first time was fine, but on my second order, the pizza took over an hour to be delivered, and the restaurant is only about 10 minutes away. When it finally arrived, the pizza was as thin as paper and tasted like cardboard—absolutely terrible!

My family and I were traveling and decided to eat at this restaurant. The garlic rolls were excellent, the mozzarella sticks were decent, the chicken wings were tasty, and the pizza was also good. Overall, I would rate this place between 4 and 4.5 stars.

I ordered the Baked Penne, which the menu describes as seasoned ricotta cheese with penne pasta, baked and topped with melted mozzarella. The waitress came back not once, but twice, to double-check my order. However, when my meal arrived, I was served spaghetti with meat sauce instead. I didn't eat it since it wasn't what I ordered and frankly, it didn't taste very good. Since it took a while for our large order to arrive, I decided not to send my meal back and just ate some of the pizza we had ordered, which was quite good. When the waitress returned after 20 minutes to ask if we were ready for the check, I politely informed her that my meal was incorrect and I hadn't eaten it, but it wasn’t an issue since I had the pizza. I simply asked her to remove the incorrect dish from the bill. Her response was, "Oh, well you really confused me when you ordered it because you can order all this stuff in a bunch of different ways, but I guess I can go take it off your bill." I didn't complain, wasn't disrespectful, and certainly didn’t cause a scene. I have no idea why she felt the need to blame me for the confusion over my order. I didn’t make any special requests or changes; I just asked for baked penne. Instead of an apology, I felt blamed and our receipt was practically thrown at us. I’m not looking for coupons or free items. One experience like this is enough for me to avoid this location in the future. I don’t wish for anyone to be fired or reprimanded, but I do hope they can improve their service.

I ordered a pizza for delivery, and it took over an hour and a half to arrive (partly due to the delivery service). When it finally got here, the pizza was cold and poorly made, with some toppings completely missing. One side of the pizza was just dough with nothing on it. This experience was as bad as it gets—completely unacceptable.

The pizza was fantastic, with the perfect balance of sauce and cheese. The cake was baked to perfection. The mozzarella sticks were delicious—crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside. The service was outstanding!
