Panoptikum - Karlovy Vary

There aren't many options in Karlovy Vary but Panoptikum is very good. If anything, you are guaranteed to be full from the sheer amount of food. Karlovy Vary as a town does not get too busy even during tourist season so I would not imagine having to wait very long for a seat if at all. The interior is like that of a log cabin. The service was very quick and attentive. The menu is extensive and has English translations. I'd recommend the pork belly, it was very tender and an enormous portion.

Original tasty Czech food in huge amounts. Prices are a steal! We had half a duck and 2 pound of pork belly. Service is really nice and courteous!

Definitely no go. First of all, the whole restaurant smells like a wet Keller which is a bit disgusting. Secondly, the service? There is no service! Lastly, they have an ara parrot which keeps screaming very lout which looks so cruel and awful.
