Luau Makaiwa - Kapaa

Great food, really authentic. Not too hokey like some other more touristy luaus.

Not enough dancing, too much commentary. We left early.

The absolute best luau with the best host and dancers and singers. The food was really good and everyone was easy to talk to. Definitely go to this luau for the best experience and show.

Dancers and food were awesome! Would recommend the VIP seating. Smaller luau was really nice.

I brought my dog, Brian, to this restaurant today to celebrate his 8th birthday. The evening started off wonderfully, with plenty of appetizers and fancy drinks for him. However, things took a turn when he suddenly began barking loudly, attracting everyone’s attention and leaving them puzzled about my choice to bring a dog to such an upscale place. To make matters worse, Brian helped himself to all the food on the table, and I ended up being banned from the restaurant for life. In the aftermath, I lost my job, my friends, and my dog. Still, I would give it 5 stars!
