Big Wave Dave's - Kapaa

I requested a beer but was met with condescension regarding my choice. The staff was unprofessional, and to make matters worse, the room had an unpleasant odor. It would benefit the staff to consider freshening up.

Fantastic dive bar! We didn’t try the food, but the drinks were reasonably priced for Kauai, and the service was excellent. The atmosphere was wonderfully beachy. We would definitely love to return on our next visit to Kauai!

The bartender, Mana, is fantastic, and the beer is served ice cold—it's unbeatable!

This place is a quiet irrigation hole and it has an excellent mood and aesthetic. My wife and I stayed here and were immediately greeted and treated like Ohana. Mahalo to Big Wave Dave?s!
