LC's Bar-B-Q - Kansas City

The food here is fantastic. I especially loved the burnt ends and baby back ribs—truly some of the best BBQ offerings around. You won’t be disappointed by the quality of the smoked dishes. Keep in mind, though, that this place has an old-school vibe and is not a polished 4 or 5-star restaurant. It has a gritty, vintage style, but what it lacks in aesthetics, it more than makes up for with amazing food.

This restaurant is a classic example of authentic Kansas City BBQ. From the burnt ends to the style and amount of sauce, this is genuine KC barbecue. I would rank it among the top five in the city.

This place clearly knows what it's doing to have stayed in business all these years. I hadn't visited in quite some time, and while the beans were fantastic, the brisket was a bit tough. I was surprised, as I remembered it being much better. It's easy to find, with plenty of free parking available. The burnt ends looked appetizing, and I plan to return soon to try them and update my review.

This is undoubtedly some of the best BBQ I've ever experienced. I ordered the BBQ platter, which included impressively seasoned ribs, pulled pork, and smoked turkey BBQ. I was instantly convinced when I noticed a smoker attached to the building, where the meats are slow-cooked to perfection. Be sure to come hungry – you won’t regret it!

We had LC's cater for our work event, and it was fantastic. It was probably the best barbecue I've ever had. I brought home a ton of leftovers, and I can't wait to return for more. The sauce was absolutely delicious, too!
