Eddie V's - Kansas City

Been wanting to try Eddie V's for a while now and it did not disappoint.

I give four stars to the dessert; you must try the bananas foster dessert.

I'm torn Eddie V's is yet another chain added to the Country Club Plaza which is so disappointing to me.

The food was excellent but a little pricey for the portions received. The service was a challenge because the server did not speak/understand English very well. When asked about corkage fees we were told $55... So we went with the house Shiraz (Copper Moon) and that was $55 for a bottle of wine that is retailed for about $7... So all in all good food, WAY over priced!

Service was great and the food was flavorful and outstanding. We were able to bring a nice bottle of wine as well that brough out the flavours of each dish. I would go back and recommend.
