Really disappointed at this place! it is a market-style venue where every supplier sells various vegetarian foods. we went all the way there, as there is a little out of the way the capital is, just to find that there are hardly seats and eating on the display is left and covered with flying. no attempt to even turn off the fly. Not really. we left. but the place has good travel advisor reviews, so maybe they check it and judge for themselves?
The dining experience at this restaurant is excellent - the food is very tasty and comes at a charmingly affordable price. In fact, we can even say it is quite cheap. The atmosphere is clean and inviting, making for a pleasant dining experience.
Do not miss Hela Bojun Hala in Kandy, as it is considered the best of all the fast food spots on the island. It is a lively place with limited seating, some patrons have to stand to enjoy their mouth-watering Sri Lankan snacks. It is a self-service food outlet, set up by the government to support local women in reaching their financial goals. Their parathas are highly praised here. Additionally, the money spent here is not wasted as the snacks such as hoppers, lentil donuts, mushroom patties and more are delicious. Vegetarian options are available and everything is reasonably priced. Fresh juices are also offered. If you are feeling hungry on your way to or from the Dalada Maligawa, this is the perfect spot for a meal. I always make sure to visit this place when I am in Kandy.
This restaurant offers a fantastic opportunity for women to showcase their traditional cooking skills and prosper. The prices are incredibly affordable, and you can enjoy a wide variety of dishes, snacks, and desserts. The options are delicious and make for a fun dining experience. Plus, you can have a satisfying meal for just 100 rupees.
