Shake Shack First National Building Downtown Detroit

I relocated from NYC, and I'm so happy to have a Shake Shack here! It truly feels like home.

The bourbon bacon jam burger was surprisingly tiny for nearly $13. The flavor was just average, and I anticipated better quality and size given the price. However, the churro milkshake was fantastic; for $8, it definitely delivered!

I'm officially hooked on the chicken bites; I highly recommend enjoying them with honey mustard sauce and Shack sauce. A helpful tip: spread your fries in a single layer on a foil-lined baking sheet and place them in a preheated 450-degree oven (for extra crispiness, put the empty baking sheet in the oven while it preheats so it gets hot before you add the fries). Bake for 5 to 10 minutes, depending on your oven and how crispy you like them. Absolute perfection!

The fries were old and stale. And they messed up my order causing some people not to have food... since theyre over 30 minutes away, I cant just order again. Disappointed
