The café offers authentic German-style food, featuring excellent sausage dishes. You'll also find a variety of cakes, sandwiches, and muffins on the menu. The soup of the day is a favorite choice and is quite affordable. Overall, the quality is great for the price. Since it's a stop for buses, it can get busy at times, but the staff handle the crowd well, so it’s not a major issue.

I took a quick break from my InterCity journey (heading north and south) and stopped at this café. It was clean and well-organized, including the restroom. The coffee was good, but the Ginger Slices were exceptional! The service was just as excellent as it was before COVID.

The atmosphere was nice and relaxing, especially after a two-hour journey. The café served delicious food, particularly the slices of fruit cake.

Good to support our local, room had everything we needed for the price. Breakfast was very good, the way you cooked the eggs was soo yum. Thank you ladies.

This Cafe has been resurrected by Sandra the new owner. 7 years ago it was a rundown dump. Now I stop every time I'm traveling either north or south and I pass through Kaiwaka. Sooooo good.
