I had high hopes for this restaurant, as it had the cozy Ma-and-Pa vibe. However, I was disappointed with the food quality. The short ribs seemed like a leftover dish that was reheated, and the fried rice with spicy chicken lacked the promised heat.

After a day at the beach, we were hungry and stumbled upon this restaurant in a small plaza. It had a very laid-back atmosphere, but their combo meal was delicious and the portions were large! Although there was no indoor seating, you could enjoy your meal outside. I highly recommend this place!

I used to live in Northern California for many years and frequented a local Hawaiian BBQ restaurant for lunch. While it was tasty, it had a heavy and simple flavor profile that made it more of a quick meal option. Curious to see if Hawaiian BBQ would taste different in Hawaii, I visited this restaurant and discovered that the flavors were quite similar to what I had experienced on the mainland. In conclusion, the food is good, but I would advise those with high expectations for Hawaiian BBQ in Hawaii to temper their expectations.

Absolute gas. I and my friend got the “2 of the top for $14” option with chicken catsu and fried rice and it was so good. seriously the best catsu I had on this island, and I don’t see it changing soon. there were both of us very good for only about $7 each. the woman who commands is so nice and eating was made super fast! 100% for fire food. absolutely stop! and make sure to tap!

The perfect comfort food! Great service, great prices, and large portions of crispy chicken. We accidentally almost ordered way too much food and the staff was super friendly, they helped us portion correctly so we didn’t end up with too many leftovers. I’d definitely come here again!
