Bean Me Up - Kaikoura District

I’ve noticed that heifer milk is quite rare in New Zealand coffee shops, so I’m giving extra points for that. The coffee is delicious, the vegan sausage rolls are fantastic, and the staff is wonderful.

This is one of the few coffee shops in New Zealand that offers regular milk; they typically have almond and soy, and sometimes coconut milk as well. The staff are friendly, but keep in mind that they only serve vegan and vegetarian dishes—there are no meat options available. They also have a guitar and a ukulele available for patrons to use.

The coffee here is excellent, and the outdoor seating is lovely. We've tried the scone a few times, and it's been great. There's also a vegan chocolate orange cake that we haven't had the chance to try yet.

This place has a fantastic atmosphere and decor that we really enjoyed! The coffee was excellent and very strong. I also loved the almond croissant I had. However, seating is limited indoors, and the restaurant only accepts cash. There’s plenty of parking available along the road or right outside in the open lot.

The food is excellent! The staff are incredibly friendly. I always enjoy visiting this restaurant.
