Altes Rathaus - Kaarst

We were with a larger group in the old rat house in kaarst. beautiful atmosphere. eat a little restricted (flake cake or flamme cake.)

Well, it's okay, but the outside terrace is suddenly closed. It was lousy inside. the cellar was overwhelmed alone and we were released about 22 o'clock.

Local specializes in cocktails, tee-güsse and wein. To eat, they offer a series of Piadina pizza in Dutch style. it is a very thin sheet that is baked in a lot and garnished like a pizza. I've tried it with a rag-shock-fresh cheese. Good.

The problem with this place is not eating. eating is average, but acceptable for the price. But the waitress has too much to do, the cook is the slowest we have ever seen. we have waited for 35 minutes for a suppe and another 45 minutes for the very simple flame cake, whose preparation should not last longer than 8 minutes. the restaurant was not overcrowded. we see great potential for improvement in the administration of the site. If the waitress does not get any support, she will collapse. the chef is unacceptably slow, and the variety of eating is miserable. a few primes of flake and 3 primers. no salate, no butter is simply unacceptable in a restaurant.

I am more often in the old rat house and feel comfortable there. the ambiente is nice and cozy, the service is good and of course the flame cake - these are the hit! I'm sure I'll be back and forth. P.S.: the publikum is always mixed - so you never feel missed at the place ;-)
