Good selection of meals, cakes, shakes and coffee. Dining area is huge, grand and has large mirrors and cast iron columns. Portions were a good size and the cost was reasonable. Staff were friendly and service was prompt.

Beautifully restored historic refreshment rooms from a bygone era of Railway sophistication. Delicious range of meals, friendly, quick service and fresh, unbelievable food from fresh, local produce. From snacks to full sized meals you can enjoy them in a fully restored ornate refreshment room, complete with grand fire places and 3 metre mirrors atop orginal mantle pieces, wrought iron columns and pressed decorative roofing. Open Mon Fri 9 5pm, this is history at its finest.

What a fantastic discovery this place turned out to be! We savored delicious bacon and eggs, pancakes, and waffles while enjoying the cozy ambiance next to the lovely open fireplace. The service was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the portion sizes were quite generous. The café is conveniently located right next to the train station, and we were lucky enough to find a parking spot right at the front, making it easily accessible without any stairs—perfect for those with limited mobility. Additionally, there's an indoor area featuring a selection of home goods and clothing items for browsing.
