The line moved fast, though they were busy. The burgers and fries were hot and exactly as ordered. Best burgers in town.

Pals in Elizabethton is totally hit or miss But its clean

The friendliness and efficiency of each and every Pal's is off the chart. I love the food. I miss Bar-b-dogs. And can it possibly be true? I really hated the Philly chicken on a hot dog bun. I didn't like the gummy consistency. I hated that there was 3 x 1 pieces of chicken on it. It was really almost just ..goo, gummy bread and 1-2 pieces of sweet pepper on it. Yuk. (And Idk which location I tried it. Actually it was probably the one near Pinnacle. ..But I don't think they're inconsistent. Pal's is never inconsistent. (Now that I have more info: I didn't eat at this Elizabethton location. And that day, it was VERY popular that day and I decided I didn't have time to eat, at all.

Pals is an absolute landmark. Not much better than a Big Pal, a Frenchie fry, and a milkshake.
