Braised In The South - Johns Island

I've consistently had a great experience at Braised in the South. The BBQ is delicious, the service is friendly, and the outdoor patio is a lot of fun.

I visited the physical location for a takeout dinner and was pleasantly surprised by the charming setup. The woman at the window was very friendly. They provided us with a buzzer to let us know when our order was ready, allowing us to relax in their picnic area while we waited. The food was packed nicely and tasted fantastic! I ordered the pork mac and cheese, while my husband had the fried chicken platter, which was absolutely massive! I highly recommend this place. I might have to come back for more before our trip ends!

I absolutely loved it! The atmosphere is great, and the food is well-seasoned and delicious. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich along with a side salad, and everything was fantastic!

Wife and I stopped by while visiting Charleston. Food was excellent. I had some of the best collard greens ever. Service was quick. The outside eating area in nice also. We are from RI but came looking for them because we saw them on the great food truck race some years back.

My husband disliked the beans but liked his pulled-pork sandwich. I like their food. I wish they were open on weekends.
