The Apres Lounge - Jindabyne

I was so happy on this restaurant in Trip Advisor (thanks to Trip Advisor). Was thrilled to find a place in Jindabyne that had so many vegan choices. The food was delicious, healthy, a bit decadent and very pleasant after a few...days in the snow. Be careful, the portions are very large and fill. The staff was beautiful and they also had a well-stocked bar, with many delicious wines (I recommend tasting some of the local wines). And behold, there were only a few doors I stayed from. A 100% recommend for vegans and omnis alike. I'm definitely back when I'm in town.

We visited the Apres Lounge for dinner at the Jindy Inn after we haven't been here for a few years. We are vegetarian and noticed online they had a new menu and cook. We had a fantastic meal here, with great service and some live entertainment that... was not intrusive and pleasant. There are many possibilities if you are also a carnivore, but we loved the vegetarian tacos and the veggie lasagna that were both amazing. Very recommended.

I must say the food here is amazing, usually vegetarian with a few meat lovers pleasures! Tonight I went the vegan Rueben Sandwich with a large bowl of the best potato and onion soup I had since my birth. The Seitan was delicious... For us meat admirers, this is a wheat meat slightly seasoned and full of taste with a texture like Devon. I recommend tasting the food here.

The chocolate chili pork brain is in my view the best meal in the city. This restaurant has fantastic high quality food at a reasonable price. Great environment and great service. Children's meals are good quality. The restaurant where the locals go.

We stayed in Jindabyne for a family ski trip for 4 days. We ate the The Apres Lounge twice during that visit. The food was outstanding as was the service. The chef Colin came out on both occasions to ask how our meal was ...to have a chat to us. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We had children with our group and they were attended to just as much as the adults in fact the ice cream order for the children was remembered and re served during our 2nd visit. Highly recommend this restaurant.
