Trangallan - Islington

The food and wine at this restaurant are amazing! The anchovy tortilla is incredible, the best I've ever had. The classic tapas dishes are perfectly executed, and there are also some unique options that were a delight to try. The staff are lovely, and dining outside on the street in the summertime is fantastic. We are already looking forward to returning soon.

I celebrated my birthday at Tranga last night and it was fantastic! We had a private room downstairs with a beautifully set table for our party of 14. The food was delicious and Madi was extremely helpful in organizing everything. Everyone raved about the food and the wonderful setting. Thank you for a memorable evening!

The portions of food are too small and overpriced. The staff was extremely rude. I visited the restaurant twice and both times the food was bad and the service from the staff was rude. The quality of the food is also poor. I will never be returning.

We agree with most of the other reviewers the food is excellent, service is great, but the food is overpriced. The wine list is pricy too, with the cheapest red at around £27.00. Having got that out of the way their octopus stew is the best I've ever eaten, and the ham croquetas and the lemon ginger broccoli are very good indeed. So maybe we will return...

Came here with a high level of expectation and was not disappointed. Every piece of the experience was worth the price we paid for the two of us. Our highlights were the pork tenderloin, mackerel and the trio of desserts. Bravo!
