Taste Of India - Isle of Skye Highland

Inspite of having almost all tables empty, they did not allow us (we were a group of Indians) to sit and eat in the restaurant. They just simply said, they are fully booked and we will have to do take away. I ordered take away and was waiting there for the food delivery for almost 45 minutes, during which no one came to sit who had booking. But there came 3 different group of people who were not Indians, and had no reservation, and they were offered tables. Also, there came many Indians wanting to sit and eat, without reservation, and they were not offered the table. I asked the manager to show me the reservations, and he simply denied to do so and showed me the last page of the menu card, where it was stated that management reserves right to reject services to anyone. I felt something fishy and tried following: I then tried to call and reserve the table but I was directly rejected the reservation, and then a friend of mine called and spoke to them in western accent to reserve a table, and he was offered the table immediately.

No marked vegan food on the menu. When we asked, the waiter rolled his eyes, asked You 're both vegan? and then named a few dishes they could make vegan. They also only accept cash! The food was okay though!

The food was nice. We were well looked after and when we told them we were vegan we were advised on what to have from the menu

When I first ordered it there, it was amazing to eat and reminded me of home. I wanted to go back the next day, but unfortunately was closed and ended up to the other Indian place, but I still preferred taste of india. the only downer was that cash payment was required when ordering below £10, but this place was cheaper and much more beautiful compared to the one I tried the next day.

We first got a bit out of here and loved him! it was a great order for many people and each of us enjoyed the whole meal. we'll be back soon!
