Pop's Bbq - Iowa City

Best burnt ends I’ve ever had. Good Carolina BBQ Sauce too. My friends had the sliced beef, which didn’t look as good, but the roasted veggies side order looked scrumptious. I’ll be back.

This restaurant is a hidden gem! The food and service were excellent. I will definitely be coming back again.

When I think bbq I think ribs, brisket,sausage and chicken they didn't offer much for bbq dinners..more of a sandwich shop than anything...I was looking for more BBQ items

The ribs were so salty, they were inedible. The turkey sandwich was dry as a bone. The cornbread is more like a cake, with an excessive anount of sweetener and cinamon. I'm done with Pops.

Food was really good. Was in the childrens hospital for 4 days and kid could only eat soft food. The mac and cheese is fire. The Cuban sandwich was amazing and so were the burnt ends. The tenderloin is a tenderloin. All around delicious. I will be back soon
