Log Cabin - Iola

While on a work trip, I decided to pop in for a quick meal and I was pleasantly surprised! My hamburger was cooked to perfection. The kitchen was also very accommodating regarding my food allergies, which I really appreciated. The staff were friendly, the atmosphere was enjoyable (which is important to me), and the place was spotless. From now on, this will definitely be my go-to spot for lunch or dinner whenever I'm in the area! Thank you for your wonderful hospitality!

We had hoped the meal would be worth the wait, but sadly, it was not. The fish was overcooked, forcing us to peel off the breading, and although I usually enjoy crispy fish, this was merely overdone. The shrimp was also overcooked and heavily breaded, making it tough to separate, let alone chew. The hush puppies were hard and overcooked, adding to our dissatisfaction. Surprisingly, the fries were cold and tasted stale, even though we were the first customers of the night and waited so long for our meal. The coleslaw had an overly thick and creamy texture that didn’t appeal to us. To make matters worse, our waitress walked by multiple times without clearing away the plates from the four out of five of us who were clearly finished eating. Eventually, someone from our party had to get up and wait at the front just to pay the bill. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, both in terms of food quality and service.

I visited the restaurant for a job interview, and I'm happy to say that I got the job! I'll be starting on Monday morning at 6 AM. Come by and see me!

I had the cheeseburger, and it was delicious! My oldest daughter ordered chicken and finished everything on her plate, while my youngest had the club sandwich and ate it all as well! It’s a great place with fantastic people and excellent food.

This restaurant is amazing! I live just a minute away, and the food is fantastic. Their banana pudding is simply heavenly!
