Bidrage med feedbackThis was my first visit to the Culinary Institute of America. American Bounty was a wonderful experience. The menu offerings were plentiful and varied- it was hard to decide what to order. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented, from the bread to appetizers to main course and dessert. My guest and I had grilled asparagus and crab cakes to start. For our main course we had lamb and salmon. For dessert we had the most delicious flourless chocolate cake Iâve ever had. The service was excellent too. It was a delightful experience.
The server were very professional. we were disappointed, however, that they do not have all the selections on the menu. a household please inform the server the guests when they receive the menu if there are elements that have changed or are not available. this would make it easier to decide in time. we had to make a tedious decision when we were informed that there was no hit by lamb or bourbon cocktail when we gave our order. If we had known before, we would have given ourselves some time to think about our other options.
Our server was very attentive, however, my soup and salad were brought together and I felt ver rushed. My soup was hot another at our table had soup and it was only warm and it was not what she ordered. She sent it back. The cappuccino was cold for my table mate and somewhat hot for me. She sent hers back to be warmed. Iâm not used to this at the CIA.
American Bounty had a New Orleans/southern cooking theme going, Food was well presented, flavorful. A fun experience, always interesting to hear where the servers are in their training.
Beautiful campus and restaurant. Highly recommendation.
