Bidrage med feedbackWas very excited to check this place out. Got the pulled pork sandwich and ribs. First off, the sandwich was DRY. The buns tasted like store-bought white bread burger buns. The sauce on the side was 100% necessary to eat the thing. The sauces did not have a whole lot of flavor: the spicy sauce was very flat and not that spicy. The vinegary sauce was not bad but just lacked flavor and was watery. The best sauce was the sweeter BBQ sauce but it was also nothing special. I have made a better sauce at home by taking some Sweet Baby Ray 's and adding some more vinegar and spices to it. The cole slaw that came with the sandwich was TERRIBLE. Flavorless, just a bunch of chopped cabbage with vinegar. No seasoning, no special dressing, not even carrots in it. Pulled pork sandwich rating: 2/5 stars The ribs had a great flavor to them, but unfortunately they were also dry as heck. And by dry I do not mean they had a little bit of tug on the ribs so they don 't get to be the fall-off-the-bone texture that BBQ heads don 't like ...no I mean they were dry as the Sahara. Ribs rating: 3/5 stars I am willing to go back in case I had a one time bad experience but overall this place was an enormous disappointment. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

I ordered the ribs, but unfortunately, they weren't very tender. I understand that they need to be smoked at the start of the day, but they seemed like they had been sitting out for a while. The house honey BBQ sauce was delicious, though. Unfortunately, the ribs and the macaroni and cheese were served lukewarm. On the other hand, the baked beans were piping hot and quite tasty. I was disappointed with the ribs, aside from the fantastic sauce. Overall, it felt like the entire meal had been reheated in a microwave, except for the beans. I might consider giving this place another try, but I would probably skip the ribs next time. Also, while there is a restroom, it's not accessible for those with disabilities.
The restaurant has a charming country-style atmosphere. I enjoyed the food, but I think the BBQ sauce could use a bit more thickness, and the brisket was somewhat bland. The ribs, on the other hand, were delicious and tender without being overly mushy—firm, yet they fell right off the bone. Overall, the prices are quite reasonable.
Service was good, and we dined in for lunch. The price per person ranged from $10 to $20. Food: 5/5 Service: 4/5 Atmosphere: 4/5 Recommended dish: Bacon Baked Beans
