Cheyne's - Hout Bay

I just enjoyed an incredible dinner at Cheyne's. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the food was absolutely fantastic, and the atmosphere was lovely. We recently moved to Hout Bay, and we’ve just discovered one of the best reasons to be here! We will definitely be returning soon, especially for that peanut butter shake!

Cheynes is truly a hidden gem! From the moment you walk in, you feel like you’re among friends. The staff is friendly, attentive, knowledgeable about the food and ingredients, and especially the cocktails! Their training is impressive, offering some of the best service I've experienced in Cape Town. Each dish on the menu is exceptional (I've tried almost everything except for the fish, which my partner loves). You can enjoy up to 15 ingredients in a single dish, and every bite is absolutely delightful. Last night’s dinner was the best we've had there, although every visit has been consistently fantastic. I highly recommend the Mumbai Beef, crispy pork with quail eggs, beef sliders, scallops, and short ribs. For a delightful finish to your meal, don’t miss out on one of Cheynes' special Espresso Martinis!

The food is beautiful and delicious, and it's a place we never miss visiting. The service is great, and we wish them all the best for maintaining their consistently high quality.
