The brussel sprouts, corn pudding, and macaroni and cheese were delicious! And we can't forget about the tender brisket! However, I do think there should be a better system in place for customers in line to know what sides are available when they come up to order. I found myself waiting in line for a while because some people ahead of me were unsure of what to order or what sides were on offer. Improving communication in this area could help speed up the ordering process.

I am a big fan of BBQ, so I decided to try out this restaurant. As soon as we arrived, we could smell the wood burning and the meat cooking. We waited in line and could see the big smokers behind glass in a separate room, watching the pit masters and meat carvers at work. We ordered a variety of items and everything was delicious. The Brussel sprouts and tater tot casserole were my favorite sides. The turkey and sausage were excellent, while the pulled pork and brisket were also good, although the brisket could have used a bit more rest time. Overall, I still believe Franklin BBQ in Austin has the best brisket, but Truth BBQ is better overall with its fantastic sides and other offerings.

We learned about Truth BBQ from a television show and decided to give it a try. We are so happy we did. The brisket, pork ribs, sausage, and chicken were all excellent. The sides were also delicious and unique, including beans, corn, Mac n cheese, and tater tot casserole. We couldn't resist getting a slice of the triple chocolate cake, which was amazing. The dining area was nice and there was a long line around 1pm on Saturday. We waited about 30 minutes, but it was definitely worth it.

Best barbecue in Texas. Austin and Dallas can’t compete with Truth BBQ and you can’t tell me otherwise. Turkey breast was soooo tender and apparently their most popular meat. But also the brisket and pork ribs were delicious. Would also recommend Brussels sprouts as a side. The only downside is the very long wait time…you have to arrive early to wait less than 40min

Great food, ribs and brisket were delicious. Service was nice, we waited in line for 45 minutes but it was worth it. The parking lot is big. If you want to save time you can order online and just pick up your order when it is ready.
