Bayou Side Seafood Inc - Houma

The last time I visited this seafood restaurant to make a purchase, I felt as though my money wasn't valued. The staff was rude and appeared unwilling to assist me, which left me with the impression that they preferred not to serve people of color.

This family-owned restaurant has been serving my family since my childhood. I'll always remember the legendary bumper sticker that said, "A bad day fishing is still better than a good day at work."

The restaurant doesn't stick to its advertised hours, and the prices are quite steep. I would recommend trying another place instead.

I always reach out to check prices for live seafood, and after calling several places, I finally found some at Bayou Side. They had great prices too! I highly recommend this restaurant; the staff is friendly, and they even offered me a veteran discount. I always support businesses that are veteran-friendly.

I had the boiled crawfish, and they were excellent! I'll definitely be returning.
