Fishing - Honolulu

Our dining experience at Arden was magnificent. Relaxing environment, locally sourced ingredients, unpretentious vibe, delivering a feeling of luxury. Our server was knowledgeable and guided us through the menu confidently. This will remain in my memory for years to come.

Excellent meal. The Argentine Cab Franc is outstanding. Agree with everyone else about the mushroom rice. We really enjoyed the shishito peppers and prawns as well. We will definitely be back.

All of the menu items we tried were delicious! We had Kauai prawns, French fries, lamb lollipops, mushroom rice, zucchini and a delish cocktail called Float like a butterfly. Flavor profiles on everything were layered and don't disappoint. The complimentary baked Hawaii for my husband's birthday was so good and dairy free! We will definitely come back again!

Wow. Everything was so great. I'm at a loss for words. Welcoming, vibrant, approachable. Incredible food that is above most in Honolulu, and below the price of your average fine dining Hawaiian resort restaurant!? It does exist. At least not until now. They gave me a whole stick of foie gras that looked like butter with some toast, sweet jelly, and a savory onion jam. Not only is that a classic combo but it gave me the freedom to eat about as much foie gras as I could fit in my belly. Along with amazing cocktails, a fun and affordable wine, and an incredibly genuinely kind and helpful staff, the food was nothing short than fantastic. We had the hamachi, the foie gras, and the baked Hawaiian dish (a play on baked Alaska). At first glance I thought the hamachi dish was too simple, but it satisfied every needed, sweet, smokey, fatty, acidic, spicy. I had seen the foie gras and knew what to expect and words can't describe my happiness while eating it, so much better than I could have imagined. When I ate the baked Hawaiian dish, I initially thought that there wasn't any main character in the story I was tasting, but after a few bites I appreciated the delicacy of each individual component, I love overpowering sugar and sweetness and I didn't need it to truly enjoy this dish. That's Arden for you. Drop your expectations and just welcome kindness and use your freaking taste buds. It's delicious and full of surprises.

The food was excellent, very authentic Hawaiian grilled fish and meat with a lot of flavors. The overall setting could be improved to decrease the noise level. Nevertheless great experience overall.
