We had a fantastic lunch with fresh, delicious ingredients, all served by friendly and professional staff. The café has a welcoming and cozy atmosphere. Kudos to the owners for establishing this lovely spot—it truly is in a beautiful location! They also serve the best gluten-free lemon drizzle cakes in Leicestershire!

Wow, what an incredible selection of homemade dishes! I had the quiche, which came with a lovely salad and couscous. The staff was very helpful and polite. I also enjoyed a cake that was absolutely to die for. Additionally, they have made excellent gluten-free options available.

This is a fantastic place to enjoy delicious food and drinks. The team is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making it a great atmosphere. It’s very family- and dog-friendly as well. I highly recommend it!

Acorns is a great little coffee shop, the staff are friendly and polite and are always happy to help. Orders are always taken promptly, even on a hectic Bank Holiday weekend, some of the staff are new so a little bit slower, and sometimes need to be shown things or corrected but this is normal for any business, so people scoring the premises down for this are being a bit silly. Prices are very competitive considering all the cakes and food are all prepared onsite with fresh local ingredients. Like the saying goes ‘you get what you pay for’ and I would rather pay a little bit extra to get quality tasty food. My only criticism, and this is a council issue and not one of Acorns, is the place could be made a little bigger to allow for a bigger seating area inside and an expansion of the toilet facilities.
