Pizza Ala Slice - Hilo

I absolutely love this place! Even though it might not look like much, it's my top choice for food at the mall. I prefer not to have a heavy meal while shopping, and the gyros here are just perfect. My family ordered them on our last visit. I also adore their pizza—it's unique with thick slices and just the right portion size. I haven't tried anything else on the menu, but I always notice people ordering the cheese bread and Caesar salad. Friends often encourage me to try other items, but I always go for the gyros. Plus, the owner is incredibly sweet to me (I believe he is the owner). One time, after I ordered, he treated my daughter to a lollipop, even though she was really shy. Before we left Hilo, we stopped by to use the restrooms, and he kindly reminded us and gave her another lollipop.

The gyros were fantastic! While they may not be quite as good as Danos Doner, the quality and price make them worth trying. I'm not usually a fan of lamb, but the combination of beef and lamb masks the lamb flavor nicely. Go ahead and give them a try! As far as I know, they are the only gyros available in the area. Delicious pizza! I always dine here whenever I catch a movie. It's much more affordable than the pizza at the theater!

My son loves the pizza here and the gros are really good.

Pizza by the slice is the main part of the business but you can order a large pizza too.
