The Plaza Cafe - High Point

This was my first visit to the restaurant. The food was excellent, once I finally received it. I ordered for takeout, and while the staff wasn't rude, it took about 5 minutes from the time I walked in until anyone acknowledged my presence. I eventually had to ask for a menu, which is why I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5. I ordered a burger platter with fries and a sweet tea. The burger had a homemade appearance and taste. The platter included crinkle fries and a large tea.

I've been coming here for years, and my boys absolutely love this place. The pecan waffle is delicious, and the staff is fantastic!

I really enjoyed breakfast at this restaurant, with its wide variety of options and affordable prices. The owners and waitstaff are friendly, and the hospitality is excellent. Today, I got a chicken hoagie with fries, sweet tea, and a small Greek salad to go for dinner.

I had never dined at this local spot in the 33 years it has been operating, but I'm glad I finally did. The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming, creating a cozy atmosphere. The food is both delicious and reasonably priced. My son and I enjoyed omelettes that were generously sized and loaded with feta cheese, which we absolutely loved! While we were there, a diverse group of regulars came in, clearly feeling right at home. I even saw the owners help one of their regulars move back to his usual seat as soon as the previous guests left and the table was cleared. I highly recommend this local gem! Just a heads-up: the parking lot is quite small, and they only accept cash.

The food is fantastic, the staff are wonderful, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is delightful. We make it a point to enjoy a meal here at least once a week. We highly recommend The Plaza to everyone!
