Epicentro Cafe 1 - Hialeah

I ordered a Cuban coffee that upset my stomach and a beef pastry that tasted off. I discovered it was burnt on the bottom. I will never return to this place again. To make matters worse, there was an unsettling older woman sitting in the back who seemed to be staring at me. I later learned she’s the night manager. I didn’t even want to voice my concerns; I just dumped my food and left.

Once, Epicentro was a lively spot with plenty of people playing pool at all hours. The atmosphere was a bit worn, but the service was fantastic, and the food was consistently great. They’ve recently cleaned up and remodeled the space, but sadly, the quality of the food has taken a nosedive. I used to rave about their amazing pan con bistec, but now it’s anything but impressive. It’s super bland, lacking mayonnaise and potato sticks—elements that used to make it delicious and satisfying. The once mouthwatering pan con bistec is now a major disappointment. It’s the only place in the area open 24 hours, so I gave it another try, but the result was the same. I find myself eating here only when there are no other options, and sadly, that seems to be why their customer base continues to stick around since there’s really nothing else available late at night for miles.

I just spent $32 on two breaded steaks, and this is how they were cooked. It's unacceptable—only greasy breadcrumbs and hardly any steak at all. Just by looking at it, it seems like they were pre-cooked and then just refried. I do not recommend this place at all.

This place sucks! 3 of them just left me standing at the window staring at me less than 2 feet away from me. No one took my order because they were too busy ignoring me until i left. A few more minutes later and they realized I had left... Looking around like its my fault. Terrible experience never fails here! Hate this place already. Drove here from the beach for nothing. So mad. Will never recommend it again

I have only tried the pan con bistec (steak sandwich) and it was delicious. It was a fresh, big, and good portion. Very well priced too.
