Silver Orange Bistro - Heilbron

Culinary heaven! Everything about this place is superb, from the service, quaint deco to citrus gardens and the surprise gin bar at bottom of the property!

From making a reservation to ending lunch with coffee ... the Silver Orange experience was pleasant and fantastic! Love the cosy quaint vibe of the classy, upmarket restaurant. The menu is great and also the wine list is excellent. The service is tops and waiters friendly, warm and well informed ... we had a beautiful table setting which was scattered with rose petals for an extra special feel and look. The starter, mains and dessert was absolutely faultless and so delicious. The decor and ambiance is so relaxing and beautiful. Would like to try the more casual restaurant Almost Orange and will definitely return again soon to try other dishes. It’s the small little things and detail that made our dining experience more enjoyable.

Fabulous lunch out in the country and just a hop skip and jump from Joburg. Exceptionally tasty food which was beautifully plated! Awesome wine selection ! 5 stars from me ! Will be back again

The food is always exceptional here. Fresh and delicious. We went again the other evening and sat on the patio, sipped on a gin while watching a beautiful thunderstorm. What a lovely setting!

What a great find so far from the city. Modern Bistro food with strong Italian influence. Extensive wine list with a substantial Portuguese wine list all wines priced very reasonable.
