Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Waiter was quite rude!!! All because we arrived 30 minutes before a special would be available, She was upset because we ordered coffee and decided to wait at our table for the 30 minutes that we had to wait to be served the special we wanted. The waiter was quite rude to my wife, we were debating on just paying for our coffee and leaving to have our dinner at the country kitchen in Lampasas Texas where we were staying in the Best Western Hotel. Also when I went to pay after we finally got to eat, the lady at the register was talking on her phone with her back to me as I laid our receipt on the counter, she ignored me and I stood there like a fool trying to get checked out. I once loved eating at this Cracker Barrol in Harker Heights Texas,For now on me and my wife will just go to Lampasas Texas And Eat At The Country Kitchen Cafe.

The Manager, Kimberly, is an All Star and very, very kind. She makes sure you are taken care of.Please say Hi to her when you are in there. She's amazing.Her job is not the easiest, and I don't know her personally.I had a small hitch, and she stepped in and did an exceptional job of making sure I was happy.And oh the food was awesome too!

Not happy with the check in ahead of time. After a short time I saw a message saying I had to check in so they would know I was there.

Food was decent, and a good price. The wait took a little bit longer than expected. My son did order a limited time French toast bake and I will say if you have loose teeth, or no teeth at all do not order this. It's extremely hard!

Most of the food was good but the fries weren't fried enough...some cooked well but some under cooked.I LOVED THE SERVICE!!! Very kind and considerate.Parking: There's plenty of parking front, side and back of the restaurant.
