Super cozy place, came in around 3pm wanting a drink and a sandwich_Little bar on Locke street with an open wall to the street, allowing fresh summer

This place is my favorite in Hamilton. I love the atmosphere, food, music and people in here...what else could be better?! It's already the best.

Bar on Locke has great food and one of the best servers around (Shawn). If you like crab cakes, you won't find any better. Even though it's listed as an appetizer, 3 good size crab cakes (with a fantastic sauce) and a side salad, makes a great lunch.

Our thing is to go out for lunch on weekends. Rarely do we do dinner. Unfortunately a lot of restaurants are either not open for weekend lunch or they serve brunch (expensive eggs). This is one of our 'go to's' for a good meal, great service and atmosphere. We like the table in the front, open to the street in warm weather. They have apps, sandwiches, entrees and desserts along with daily specials. We can get a quality meal with either craft beer or reasonably priced global wines. We like the baked brie (comes with salad and could serve as a meal) and know that they do their own smoked meat so it's fresh and tasty. I have yet to have something that I did not like. We would have no issues speaking up if there was a problem, though have yet to run into a problem.We come here when we just want a good quality meal!
