Alcan Motor Inn - Haines Junction

Very clean , fluffy towels , comfy bed, soft bedding , nice lighting , quiet. instant hot water , pillows were very comfortable on the neck, soft but not too soft. nice tv with lots of working channels, incredibly fast and easy check in , large parking lot accommodating trailers , cute wood exterior , pretty festive lights. highly recommended., got a great night sleep. *in room coffee maker. if you want half and half , bring your own.

We arrived into Haines Junction late at night. We were grateful for the clean and comfortable room after a full day of traveling. We stayed two nights at the hotel and during our stay our sweet kitty went missing. We notified Cindy at the hotel, who quickly spread the word. Our sweet boy was found a few days later. I’m forever so grateful for the Alcan Hotel in Haines Junction.

Good motel. Got everything I needed. Pros: Clean room. Warm bed. Hot shower. Cons: The World's Loudest Refrigerator, wonder of the world.

Very pleased with our stay at the Alcan Motor Inn. We were instructed when we called to use booking.com to book our stay. There was a no-contact check in procedure where our keys were in an envelope waiting for us when we arrived and when we departed we also left the keys in the Dropbox. We never once saw an employee while we were there which was odd but we had no true need for contact either, it was just a different style than we were used to. Really loved the gorgeous view from the hotel. I was expecting our room to be really dated in decor style but I thought it was fresh and lovely! Very nice beds and bathroom with a small fridge (and maybe a few other kitchen things I didn’t use them so I can’t recall what all was there). Our pets were welcome but required to stay off the furniture. I travel with a pop up kennel for instances like this so it was no issue for us to respect that request! The area was quiet, there are a few restaurants nearby and also a gas station. Wonderful stay along the Alcan highway!

Great place to stay during our road trip. Comfy bed and easy parking outside our room. Wifi kind of spotty but it worked at the end . Great restaurant just outside the hotel.
