Ooh Lou Lou Cakery - Hackney

Ooh Lou Lou provided our wedding cakes last June and they were absolutely amazing. We ordered three gluten-free cakes, all of which were delicious. Our guests loved them so much that there was not a single crumb left. The staff were very helpful and even provided cake stands for us. For our one year anniversary, my husband surprised me with another gluten-free cake from Ooh Lou Lou, and it was equally as delicious as our wedding cakes. We devoured it in no time.

I had heard great things about the cakes at Ooh Lou Lou Cakery, so I decided to indulge. However, I was let down when my order arrived. Considering the steep price, I was hoping for a bigger portion. The carrot cake I chose was just okay, nothing special compared to what you can get at a grocery store. I'm only giving it two stars because it was still tasty (I don't mind grocery store carrot cake). The attached photo doesn't truly capture how small the portion was.

We love coming to this restaurant for their delicious cakes and cupcakes! They are so flavorful that we have to resist the urge to buy more. The staff is always friendly and attentive too!

I must thank Lou for my marvellous birthday cake, it was excellent and my favourite red velvet. All my guests have been raving about how lovely it was. I didn't think your standard could improve but I was wrong. Thank you very much it must have taken you ages to do it.

Helen I got married recently, and Lou team did the most amazing cakes for us exactly what we asked for, beautifully done, delivered on time, great price, lovely people oh, and the cakes tasted great! Can’t recommend this place highly enough. Ed
