I couldn’t even finish it and ended up throwing everything away. The calamares were also undercooked. I spent over $50 on this meal, which felt like a complete waste of money. I called the restaurant to express my concerns, but the girl who answered offered no solutions. She simply said, "Oh, it’s probably just the marinade; they might have used something different today, that’s why it tastes different. Everything else looks fine, and you’re the only one who has complained today." I insisted that it wasn’t the marinade and that there was definitely something wrong with the meat, especially since I order from them at least four times a month without any issues before this. It felt like she was dismissing my concerns, making it seem like I was fabricating my complaint. I found it frustrating, especially since I was trying to remain polite throughout the conversation. Usually, a man answers the phone, so it was disappointing to witness the lack of customer service skills from her. In the end, she just said, "I’ll let the kitchen know that the marinade isn’t good," and hung up. I’m genuinely upset that I spent so much money on food that I couldn’t even eat. I've been a regular at this restaurant for quite some time, and it's my go-to spot whenever I'm craving tacos or enchiladas. Most of the time, I opt for take-out, but I also enjoy dining in with a friend occasionally. During my last visit, the service was outstanding. Unfortunately, I chose the wrong sauce for my enchiladas—I mistakenly thought the red sauce was just tomato sauce or mild salsa, not realizing it was actually spicy. I discovered this the hard way after taking a bite! I can't handle spicy foods, so I let the waitress know, and the restaurant quickly remade my meal without the red sauce. They were incredibly understanding and made the whole process hassle-free. I will definitely keep coming back, not only for the amazing food but also for the exceptional customer service.
For catering, I worked with the manager regarding our vegetarian options. We chose chips and salsa, guacamole, mini veggie burritos, and empanadas as appetizers, and a burrito bowl for the main course. I also spoke with the owner, who was extremely accommodating with our vegetarian requirements. I would highly recommend this restaurant for both catering and dining in!
The food was very good, service great. The chicken flautas (flautas de pollo) were awesome but the soft tacos were not that great.
Small authentic Mexican restaurant. Attentive staff and great fresh food. I ordered shrimp fajitas and it came out on a nice sizzling plate accompanied with tortillas, rice, beans, sour cream, guac and pico de gallo. Nice portions!
