Oriental Gourmet - Gronau

I could say I was unpleasantly surprised by the lack of food quality in this restaurant. The good looking restaurant is the only reason why I give 2 stars instead of 1. The chinese food turned out to be a very basic selection, nothing outstanding, the noodles were horrible and the sushi was mediocre. The desserts... well the desserts were okay-ish, but you also don't expect much when you go to a chinese restaurant. In the end we paid more than €50 for two, way too expensive for what was offered. Don't intend to go there again, this is completely over-rated.

Incredibly overrated restaurant. Nothing Gourmet about it: just a run of the mill buffet with an ok selection of Chinese food (that went from fair chicken all the way down to horrible noodles) and sushi (with a rice that was much too dried and sticky). The desserts were also indifferent and clearly industrial made. Not worth the detour I made.

The restaurant don't have a big parking space. Doesn't have air conditioner and is very hot inside. The food is good. But not all of it, many of the dishes are full with cooking oil. If you pay 15 euro it is ok but 25 it is to much for the quality of the food. Sushi is tasteless

The best in the surrounding Borken district. Price/performance i.o. cleanliness in the room etc. could be a bit better, but otherwise everything else i.o. food: 4 service: 3 atmosphere: 4
