Greycliff Mill

This is a charming and lively spot. It's conveniently located just off the highway, but you'll need to plan your exit carefully; otherwise, you might miss it. During winter, the hours end at 3 PM. We unfortunately arrived after coffee service had finished, but the owners were very gracious and let us explore the place. The building itself is quite old—an antique water-powered gristmill with a rich history. It was hand-hewn (I can’t recall the exact year, but it’s from around the 1700s) and has recently been relocated from the East Coast to Montana. The establishment serves as a coffeehouse and snack bar, as well as a store and market, featuring some lovely arts and crafts for sale. On the former ranch property, they also offer tours of a cheese cave and greenhouse, among other things. Plus, there is a herd of bison located at the east end of the property.

I visited for the first time and absolutely loved it! I ordered an eggnog latte, and it was perfect. They also offer pastries from a local bakery. If you're looking for something warm, definitely try a panini! The shop has a charming atmosphere, too. I didn’t have time to explore the cheese cave during this visit, but I plan to check it out next time we're in Montana. We're even considering renting a cabin here. Thank you, Greycliff Mill!

I was there in September and had a wonderful day! We had lunch there and the food was great. It was very interesting looking at the mill ,I had seen this barn on TV being taking down and shipped to Montana . The grounds with the pond and the cliffs in the back ground are beautiful. What a happy day we had.Parking: There are many places to park. We had no problems with parking.

Very neat place! We brought home some of the soft cheese from the market, coffee beans raw cream. We took the kids on a hay wagon ride. Had a great conversation with the guys! Shawn/John? I'm horrible with names. Super friendly, had a great conversation about mini aussies milk cows/beef cattle.
