The Back Home Cafe - Greer

Good time to meet up with our 3 ?groups?. Normally we hike then eat lunch but it it was ?raining? so we skipped for the first time in 10 years. We ate chili dogs and burgers in Greer instead. Then the various cars left to take the back roads to Silverstone. Wendy, Josh, Rip, Lance, and Zack.

The food was amazing, and the customer service was fantastic!

This was my first visit here in a long time. When I sat down, I noticed the table could use some cleaning, so I mentioned it to the waitress. A guy came over to wipe it down, but he seemed a bit annoyed. I ordered the chili cheeseburger and salad. The burger was tasty, and I was impressed by the finely chopped tomatoes. I might come back sometime for breakfast.

Initially, I feared I would be let down. However, this place truly exemplifies the saying "don't judge a book by its cover." The service was outstanding, surpassing what I've experienced at many other restaurants. I ordered the Jessica Omelette along with a cup of coffee, while my grandchildren enjoyed French toast with bacon. Since this was my first visit to the town, I discovered this spot through a Google search. I would definitely recommend it for breakfast!

Great service! The menu was simple. I had a delicious breakfast/brunch as well. Eggs cooked to perfection! Bacon! Delicious french toast! Crispy hash browns! With an additional side of ham, red eye gravy biscuits! Everything was delicious. I can?t say enough! Just good old, down home, southern cuisine. Definitely recommend!
