Cuba Libre - Great Wood

Our waitress was friendly and that's pretty much the only positive thing about this restaurant. First of all they don't offer free water cups so you have to pay $2 for their Aquafina waterbottle. This is America all restaurants offer free tap water. The mamey shake wasn't that sweet. Croquetas were thin/small and definitely didn't taste like ham. Masa de cerdo was very very hard/dry. Ropa Vieja portion was small. Salad (especially tomatoes) had an odd taste. Overall it was not a good cuban restaurant and if you are a cuban coming from Miami or NJ you will be disappointed with the food.

I must admit the best Cuban food I've ever tried, I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for real authentic Cuban food. Thumbs up and five stars!

Café Cuba is definitely the best Cuban Restaurant in Houston Katy Area. The food is absolutely delicious, everything on the menu is great and always fresh. And the employees treat you like family, my wife and I love going there to eat we always feel like we are home.

This place was delicious and the new owners so pleasant! One of the best customer service I’ve had in a long time. We had tostones rellenos and fry chicken. Very authentic on the taste!
